Well, the thing is… I am not so much of a pet person. Sooooooo not… In fact, I have never, not even as a kid, really wanted a pet. But, one day dad came home with the cutest puppy – a white lab, we named him Snowy… he was my one and the only pet, we had so much fun together.. Derek, Pierre and I loved him so much… Snowy died at age 11 in 2003…..
So, I guess even thou I am not a pet person, I probably can live with a dog.... After all it benefits the kids if they grow up with a pet, according to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, taking care of a pet ma help childeren develop better social skills, self esteem, and self confidence.
I think the biggest challenge now is to find a blue dog.. which is mission impossible… , unless if I spray paint the dog in blue.. (which I am sure, I’d be getting a call from animal welfare within 48 hours.. :-)
